Spring flowers #1
These are called field speedwell. The ones with purple flowers are called scrambling speedwell, and white ones are turf speedwell. I found out their names from here
I've always found these flowers super cute. But they're easy to overlook since they're so teeny.

I got to the second Louis fight in Metaphor yesterday. After all the buildup, both fights were pretty underwhelming. I mean, beating him down was fun, but it's weird that the most powerful man in the world felt weaker than the sidequest bosses.
i think i'm close to the endgame. Hopefully the final fight with him will feel more epic.
Side note: the further into the game i get, the more i start thinking "wow this really is an SMT game". It feels like i'm back in my SMT/Etrian Oddysey/Persona phase in uni.

This is my Code of the Burger King tierlist.
Special Shoutouts:
- Sephiran - A staff user with access to the convoy is so busted. And he has a dragon!! (it's called Gobbles)
- BK - For some reason, he crits alot. Might just be my luck. Basically one-shotted the final boss (after bigle did chip damage with luna). I also relate to him as a fellow customer service worker.
- Priscilla - OHKO-ing Raven right after talking to him was very funny. I also gave her the Capture skill for some reason.

MVP#2: bigle 👁
Never thought an eyeball monster could be cute. I love how it acts like an affectionate cat when BK recruits it. Its support with Lynhardt also felt really meaningful. Probably my favourite trainee unit in an FE game.
With its beefy magic stat and tomerange+1, bigle is usually in charge of dispatching the scary 1-2 range melee units. It's also basically summoner, so it's really good at redirecting attacks. In that respect, it's actually pretty similar to Matthis. Hmm… my faves more similar than i thought!
Oh yeah, and it can fly.
10/10 perfect unit best unit no notes. 1-3 range luna and nosferatu with fili shield. Would love to see more monster units in rom hacks.

MVP #1: Matthis
Looking at his stats now, they don't seem that impressive compared to my other units, most having numbers in the 30s and 40s. But wow this man carried the squad on his back - by being the enemy's favourite punching bag.
His aggravate skill plus his decent defences made placing my squishier units much easier. Because of him, i could be more aggressive in player phase than i usually am. He also made training up MVP#2 way less stressful.
He's also a great combat unit! Nihil was super useful against lots of bosses. Just give him a javelin, brave lance and pure water and send him to the front. I don't think he even touched an S rank weapon - because he doesn't need it.
Its funny how we recruit him as an unwilling soldier, forced into the front lines by the enemy; and then i did the exact same thing.

I finished Code of the Burger King yesterday! What an amazing hack! I'm pretty sure most of the inside jokes went over my head, but i still enjoyed the lighthearted and meme-y tone. Gameplay was really balanced too. The most difficult chapters were the first two. After that, the maps never felt too difficult despite the crazy stats and super powerful weapons (i mean, the "master" weapons are literally1-2 range brave weapons, which enemies just have).
I was surprised when Dancing Mad started playing during the final confrontation, but i really shouldn't be. Its a fitting theme for an all-powerful clown mage god.
I'm kinda sad it's over… I'm not going to finish the postgame. It seems to just be an opportunity to grind out units.
I have so many screenshots from this game. I'll display it on my fe page after "The Refactoring".
